Imagine a consumer looking for information that is not displayed on the product.	By scanning the barcode with a mobile phone, CodeOnLine directs the consumer to the services offered by the brand owner - anywhere and at anytime.	A new relationship with the consumer, better sales, etc.

CodeOnLine automatically manages the links between the product barcodes and the information made available by companies for their customers.

The information is collected by scanning a “classic” barcode (EAN/UPC) or a “new generation” barcode (DataMatrix). CodeOnLine then redirects the user to the brand owner’s mobile services via the international retail businesses registry containing more than a million companies that use the GS1 standards. If CodeOnLine does not have the additional information supplied by the brand, it will display the name of the brand owner.
